Customer Reviews too flimsy, not as described I bought the Lifetime backboard after much review. Upon recieving, the first thing I noticed is how flimsy the non breakable backboard was. Very thin 1/8" material. A basketball would thud against it and drop down. The reviews and discription I had read thus far were mostly positive. Don't be fooled when the discription says Backboard is one inch thick. This describes the metal bracing plus the thin backboard material. Very disappointed and I returned it back to Amazon. This might be fine for smaller kids but I wanted a musch sturdier goal and I did have to pay twice as much to find one. I found a 1/2" thick acrylic backboard from First team.
